Be thankful for every situation, good or bad. God promises to work it all out for your good (Romans 8:28).
2015 has been an interesting year for me, filled with a lot of ups and downs, setbacks and successes… Through every experience, I tried my best to remain consistent in sharing my story with anyone who cared to read this blog. Many of my readers have shared what God said to them through my blog and the messages definitely varied from person to person. However, one theme rings true from every blog post that I’ve written. In everything, give thanks. Every message I wrote this year tells a simple story about God’s love, forgiveness, grace and direction for us. Through my transparency, I’ve been able to tell you personally how God has impacted even the smallest areas of my life and has given me something to be thankful for in every situation, good or bad.
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT
Today, I could feel a lot of different ways about the last 365 days, but I am mostly grateful for 2015 because it has and is still making me a stronger person. I am even grateful for the many times I cried, felt alone and was afraid, because those were the times when God’s presence was felt the most. My relationship is much stronger and now I am even more determined to live for Christ and to lead others to follow Him. I am grateful to every person who ever read my blog or shared a post. Your support has meant so much to me and has encouraged me to keep writing even when the devil told me I was wasting my time.
As I prepare for an exciting New Year, I ask that you would keep me in prayer. I know the Lord is shifting me and change is always scary. One of the shifts is in preparation for my first missions trip to Zambia, Africa in April 2016. Thanks to the support of my wonderful family and friends, I will be embarking on a journey to Ndola, Lusaka and Chingola to spread the Good News while providing clothing, food and fellowship to hundreds of men, women and children. I also plan to fully promote my fitness business, Conqueror Fit, on this website. Here is where you will get fitness tips, videos and workout tutorials. Stay tuned…
I look forward to a fruitful 2016 and I pray that God will bless you richly for many years to come
